The Grand Final of Northern Stars takes place next week when 20 tech startups will pitch in front of a prestigious expert panel from TechCrunch, Seedcamp, Bloomberg, Startupbootcamp and UKFast.
And we’re excited to announced that Reframed is one of them.
Reframed’s CEO Kev Price will take the stage on 24 November for the pitch competition at UKFast in Manchester.
He’ll be competing for the chance to be crowned as one of the 10 winners of the Northern Stars competition 2015, forming part of an elite showcase of Northern tech companies.
The shortlist has already been featured on Tech Radar’s 20 Promising startups looking to shake up the world of tech and the prizes for the 10 winners include attendance at TechCrunch Disrupt in London and SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.
Kev said: “It’s brilliant that we’ve been shortlisted as a Northern Star. We’ll be raising investment soon so it’s a great opportunity to get Reframed in front of the tech and business community. And we’re proud to compete alongside other tech companies from the region who wouldn’t be out of place in London or San Francisco to get wider recognition of what we’re doing in Newcastle.”
The competition, run by Tech North which is part of Tech City, starts at 3pm with the winners announced at 6.30pm.
Good luck to all the shortlisted companies.
